Institutional and sponsor meetings, site visits and direct assessment of opportunities.

ANNUAL DEAL ORIGINATION ROADSHOW
Each year, Niofar opens a limited window to identify new projects, meet sponsors on the ground, select a small number of mandates, prepare them and then begin targeted capital raising from October.

WHY THE ROADSHOW

The Roadshow brings us directly to sponsors, management teams and operating sites. We see the business in context, test assumptions, understand constraints and build a clearer view of execution capacity before a financing mandate moves forward.
That work improves everything that comes after it: mandate selection, investment readiness, transparency around gaps and ultimately the quality of conversations with financing partners.
The Roadshow is an important part of our origination, but it is not the source of every Niofar mandate. Our pipeline spans multiple African countries and also comes through direct relationships, partners and other origination channels.
OUR ANNUAL METHODOLOGY
Applications for the annual cycle are received from January through April. After field assessment and mandate selection, our focus shifts to preparing the selected projects and then raising capital. New projects that arrive after the annual intake closes are directed to the following cycle.
JAN–APR
New project applications are received, screened and assessed for fit, sponsor quality, financing need and project potential.
MAY
We select priority countries and meet selected sponsors directly, visit sites and test what sits behind the financing request.
JUN–JUL
A limited number of projects move into formal Niofar mandates with defined preparation and financing workstreams.
AUG–SEP
Documentation, specialist gaps, financing logic and investor materials are strengthened before the project goes to market.
OCT–DEC
Targeted investor engagement, meetings, information requests and diligence coordination begin and continue through year-end.
THE METHOD IN ACTION
Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire illustrate the methodology: sponsor meetings, operating-site visits, direct questions, preliminary validation and a clearer view of what still needs to be strengthened before a project goes to market.
