Preparing African industrial projects for institutional capital.
Niofar Capital works directly with project sponsors to assess, prepare and strengthen industrial opportunities before institutional capital becomes involved. For selected projects, we then bring together the right financing and technical partners to move credible opportunities forward.

WORK WITH NIOFAR
Where do you fit in the process?
We work with different participants in the industrial financing ecosystem. Choose the pathway that reflects your role so we can guide you toward the right next step.
I am a Project Sponsor
I am developing or expanding an industrial project in Africa and want to understand what needs to be strengthened before approaching institutional capital.
I am a Financing Partner
I represent an institution, fund, bank, DFI, family office or other capital provider looking for African opportunities that fit a defined mandate.
I am a Strategic or Technical Partner
I provide technical, legal, financial, institutional or execution capabilities that can help credible projects move forward.
Our Role
Preparation comes before capital.
Most projects that reach us are already seeking financing. Our job is to determine where they truly stand in investment-readiness terms, what is still missing, and what must be strengthened before institutional investors can evaluate them seriously.
We work directly with project sponsors, on the ground and remotely, and bring in trusted technical, financial and legal specialists when required. Once a project is sufficiently prepared, we can support its introduction to appropriate financing partners.
“Capital follows confidence, and confidence follows preparation.”
Why We Exist
Playing our part in industrializing Africa.
Africa’s long-term prosperity will depend on stronger industries, greater local value creation, and projects capable of attracting long-term capital. Niofar plays a practical role: we go to project sponsors, understand the realities behind their businesses, and help close the gap between a promising opportunity and one that is genuinely ready for investment.
Value Addition
From raw materials to higher-value production.
Industrialization means capturing more of the value created from Africa’s resources before they leave the continent. We focus on projects that process, manufacture and package locally, helping create jobs, deepen industrial capability and retain more economic value within African markets.
Our Annual Model
Focused selection. Meaningful attention.
We are not trying to accumulate mandates. Each year, we build our pipeline through direct engagement, then choose a limited number of opportunities where our involvement can materially move the project forward.
Source
Direct conversations with sponsors, entrepreneurs and local partners.
Understand
Market context, sponsor ambitions and the commercial realities behind the opportunity.
Prioritize
We focus on opportunities where targeted support can make a meaningful difference.
Commit
A limited number enter our active portfolio.
After Selection
Prepare the project before pursuing capital.
Once a project is selected, the work becomes more focused: identify the gaps, strengthen readiness and define the next steps before actively engaging financing partners. The scope is shaped around what the project actually needs rather than a standard package.
Sectors
Where industrial capacity is being built.
We focus on projects that build productive capacity, increase local transformation and strengthen value chains across African markets.

Why Niofar
“We are together.”
The name Niofar comes from Wolof and means “we are together.” Successful industrial projects are never built alone — they require entrepreneurs, investors, governments, experts, and long-term partners. Our role is to bring those pieces together around credible projects, and to stay engaged as the work moves forward.
